Da' Blackhawks

It is great to see that this storied franchise in the NHL is having a better season with the coaching change that was made. I have been a huge Savvy fan from the get go and glad to see that he is now the head coach of this team. Savvy definitely has this team playing as a unit versus what ever it was that they have been playing for the last couple of years. It is fun to listen to a game or know that the Hawks are playing and have a good chance to win the game, even on the road. It is better then what the Sutter Brothers were able to accomplish, more then Alpo Suhonen or Trent Yawney were able to get done. I look forward to the Blackhawks continuing to improve and that maybe they will make it back to the playoffs. Granted if they wind up the number 8 seed, they probably will get killed by Anaheim who is playing incredible puck this season however, just making the playoffs in 2006-07 is definitely a step in the right direction for this original six franchise.
